ULTRASONIC CLEANING OF FUJI SPRAY GUNS

Phelps Refinishing is Closed!

When you bought a Fuji HVLP Spray system here, you got a coupon for a free ultrasonic cleaning. I’m sorry to say that we’re no longer able to fulfill these coupons.

Every Fuji Spray Gun Manual includes information on how to clean your spray gun.

Find your spray gun manuals here.

Fuji Spray Support can also help you if you have problems cleaning your spray gun. Send photos with an explanation of the problem to support@fujispray.com.

Otherwise, the service costs, for all Fuji spray guns is $59.95. This service includes cleaning, testing and repairs if necessary, but not parts or return shipping. Just send the spray gun to me with a note, and I’ll contact you for payment after I determined what parts if any are needed to get the spray gun back to good running condition, and what shipping will cost.

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE UNABLE TO CLEAN ALL EPOXY PAINT LEFT ON OR INSIDE A SPRAY GUN WITH ULTRASONIC CLEANING, SO THERE WILL BE TIMES WHEN WE FIND IT NECESSARY TO SANDBLAST THE SPRAY GUN OR PARTS OF IT TO REMOVE EPOXY OR OTHER HARD TO REMOVE FINISHES. THE BLASTING WILL OF COURSE REMOVE OR DULL CHROME FINISHES ALONG WITH THE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE FINISH.

Ultrasonic cleaning removes gunk from holes and crevices that are at best difficult, and at worst impossible to reach with with brushes and picks, and makes the spray gun function like new again.

I only clean and refurbish Fuji spray guns that I have parts for. Unfortunately parts are no longer available for the older Fuji SC-1 spray gun so I cannot accept them for cleaning and repair. I will only replace parts that are needed for the proper functioning of your spray gun unless you request additional parts to be replaced.

Aluminum spray cups do not always clean up perfectly — there is often some tarnishing left behind that does not affect functioning. Tarnishing is more prevelant on the “M” model spray guns. T-series spray guns tend to clean up the best with a minimum of tarnishing.

When sending your spray gun in for cleaning please include your contact information inside the package. If you send in your spray gun without contact info we will not work on it until you contact us with your info.

Depending how busy we are and the condition of your spray gun it can take up to two weeks to clean, test and repair your spray gun. If there are complications it may take a week longer.
